Managing your listing
Keep your place information, pricing, availability, and renter-facing listing current.
An established Host listing still needs attention as the place, its schedule, and its commercial terms change. Use this guide to decide what to revisit, understand what changes affect new Bookings, and check the renter-facing listing after important updates.
Update your place information
Revisit the details covered in Your place when the place changes. Keep the name, address and map location, timezone, Space Type, capacity, contact details, Feature Images, and Amenities accurate so renters see information they can rely on. Saved changes update the current listing; they do not replace the need to review upcoming Bookings when a physical change affects a renter’s visit.
Update images and Amenities
Review Feature Images and Amenities after renovations, layout changes, or changes to what the place provides. Replace images that no longer represent the place and keep the cover image useful for discovery. These updates maintain the listing information renters use when deciding whether to book.
Update pricing and availability
Use Pricing and availability when rates, opening hours, booking duration limits, or cancellation policies change. These settings shape when new Bookings can be made and the terms shown to renters. A price or availability change does not rewrite the amount or time already agreed for an existing Booking.
To stop accepting new Bookings for a temporary period, adjust the place’s Opening Hours in that guide.
Review existing Bookings before major changes
Before changing the address, closing the place for dates that already have Bookings, or materially changing what renters will receive, review upcoming Bookings in Bookings and renters. Listing and availability edits do not automatically cancel or rewrite those Bookings.
Check payment setup when needed
If Stripe onboarding becomes incomplete or the Host payment screen shows that Charges or Payouts are disabled, revisit Payments and refunds. Payment setup affects readiness for paid checkout; it does not control whether the place is online.
Review what renters see after changes
After a significant update, open the renter-facing listing and check the place information, address and map location, images, Amenities, pricing, available booking times, and cancellation terms. This confirms that the saved listing matches the experience you intend to offer.
